We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and by his death and resurrection, we are able to be reconciled in our relationships with God. We acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. This not only secures for us a future home in heaven after our earthly lives have ended, but our salvation provides the present blessing of the Holy Spirit as helper, advocate, counselor, teacher, and intercessor. We believe that God has the answer for any problem we face and that by seeking his wisdom and direction through prayer, and following in obedience, we will have peace even in the midst of a storm.
We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us. While we don’t always understand what is happening to us or around us, we know that God’s plans are good and we can trust him to provide what we need. We can trust him to use the painful things in our lives for good.
We live in a fallen world where sin is rampant. Because of that people are hurting and struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, work problems, health problems, and more… Our purpose is to come along side people who are struggling with life and help them to heal and to grow in their relationship with God and to seek and find God’s will and his perfect plan for their lives.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed by the North Carolina Social Work and Certification Licensure Board. My master’s degree in Social Work is from East Carolina University. I have experience working with individuals of all ages and families through a variety of struggles with a desire to experience positive changes in their lives including struggles with depression, anxiety, child behavior problems, parenting skills, and improving overall family relationships and promoting togetherness.
I have had the pleasure of walking with others in processing their past hurts and trials they have encountered, and being a support for them in their healing journey. I believe we each have a purpose and greater calling for our lives, and it has been a great honor to walk along side others who are seeking to work out their unique purpose and being that someone to partner with them in achieving their goals. I believe that lasting and meaningful change comes through a personal relationship with Christ, and it is through Christ that we learn all that we are truly capable of. I believe through applying biblical principles over our lives and in prayer, we can experience inner peace and live an abundant and full life everyday.
I have learned through personal experience how God’s word can come alive and relate to us and our situations in a very personal way, ensuring us that we are not alone and there is always hope. I look forward to being a part of your journey with you in becoming all that you were created to be!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor, credentialed by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. I hold a master’s and doctorate degree in counseling from North Carolina State University. My counseling career has provided me the opportunity to help young children, adolescents and adults at various developmental stages. I’ve seen how the Holy Spirit can guide our lives from an early age and reward us by granting our heart’s desires even more than we can imagine.
Whether in educational systems, agencies, or private practice, I see my role as one who connects with people where they are and creates self-discovery opportunities for them to move towards their desired goal. Moreover, it is my heart’s desire to fulfill the purpose God has for my life by helping others to recognize and pursue their purpose while working to overcome various emotional states such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, and stress.
I have been blessed with two amazing biological children and a number of wonderful, caring, and supportive family and mentored daughters and sons.

Lynn Owens, MS, LCMHC
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, licensed by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. My master’s degree is in Counseling and Psychology. I help people find solutions for a variety of issues including anxiety, low self-esteem, boundaries, codependency, history of family dysfunction, and relationship problems. I also work with married and premarital couples teaching them how to communicate more successfully, how to meet each other’s needs, and how to get their own needs met in ways that enhance and fortify their relationship. Parent coaching is another service that I enjoy providing.
I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a mother to three beautiful children. My life, however, just like yours, is not perfect. I have struggles, failures, and victories. I believe each day is given by God and each day is a fresh new opportunity for discovery, healing, and growth. While all healing ultimately comes from God, He uses counselors to help people learn and apply his principles for healthy living.
